I’m Mary Ann –  bike nut, surfer, cloud architect and story teller.

Our cohort was brought up by the Silent Generation and preceded Generation X, before technology and social media transformed travel. Our desk jobs were never our identity, but up and quitting to wander the world wasn’t a viable option as it is today. Work was occasionally exhilarating but mostly grueling. We committed to the hard and delicate labor of providing and holding family together.  We weathered setbacks and stayed the course to safeguard our financial security.

Now we’re living post-work life on our own terms and refusing to be defined by age. We turn up in luxury properties, budget lodges and hostels.  Health supersedes work as we kick unwholesome habits.  Some of us are taking small steps along the path to healthy living; others are obsessively fit.  We are in our prime –  active, challenging ourselves and living a life of adventure. Always the journey, never the destination.
